We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in manual and automation testing (Java + Selenium) to support applications within the Equities Middle Office and Back Office domain. You will play a key role in ensuring quality across end-to-end trade lifecycle processes, working closely with global teams in a fast-paced delivery environment.

About You:

You're the "roll-up-your-sleeves" type who is always willing to take on new and/or bigger challenges. You will be organised, adaptable, and capable of working across multiple projects and timelines. You will be a reliable source of information for each of the teams, with a curious mind, a desire to learn and excellent relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute functional, regression, SIT, and UAT testing.
  • Validate Equities MO/BO flows - Allocations, confirmations, settlement, reconciliation.
  • Perform end-to-end testing and data validation (SQL).
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks using Java Selenium.
  • Automate regression suites and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conduct API and integration testing (REST, file-based interfaces).
  • Manage defect lifecycle, RCA, and quality reporting.
  • Collaborate with BA, Dev, and Ops teams globally.
  • Own QA delivery for modules/end-to-end flows.
  • Drive automation and improve test coverage.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in Software Quality Engineering (Manual & Automation).
  • Must be amenable to working onsite for at least twice a week (2x/week) at the Makati office.
  • Advanced hands-on proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Strong expertise in TestNG or JUnit.
  • Proven experience with Postman and Rest Assured.
  • Proficiency in SQL for backend data validation and verification.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines) and Git.

  • Deep understanding of the Equities Trade Lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Middle Office processes (allocations, trade validations).
  • Familiarity with Back Office mechanics (settlements, clearing, reconciliations).
  • Experience with Shell Scripting and infrastructure/environment management.
  • Proven track record working within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
