A hands-on role to lead the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of innovative, challenging, and complex integration projects. As the Lead MuleSoft Developer, you will be the primary technical authority for our integration streams, specializing in the design and implementation of enterprise-grade API-led connectivity. You will oversee the development lifecycle, mentor team members, and act as a trusted advisor to our clients, ensuring our solutions turn vision into reality.

You're the "roll-up-your-sleeves" type who is always willing to take on new and/or bigger challenges. You will be organised, adaptable, and capable of working across multiple projects and timelines. You will be a reliable source of information for each of the teams, with a curious mind, a desire to learn and excellent relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take end-to-end delivery responsibility on complex enterprise projects, making well-reasoned decisions and tradeoffs within the integration architecture.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, proactively identifying problems and course-correcting early.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide junior and senior team members to ensure they conform to coding principles and produce well-refactored, maintainable code.
  • Build and maintain high-quality integrations using custom transformations with DataWeave, maintaining a portfolio of skills in Java, JavaScript, C# or Apex.
  • Implement advanced logic using MuleSoft transformers, filters, error handling techniques, and routers.
  • Oversee the extensive use of MuleSoft and API management tools such as RAML/OAS/Swagger and API Manager.
  • Architect and enforce security concepts across the MuleSoft tech stack, including OAuth, SAML, HTTPS (SSL), WSSecurity, Signatures, and Encryption.
  • Lead deployment configurations using CI/CD tools like Bitbucket pipelines or Jenkins, modifying deployment pipelines to ensure release efficiency.
  • Take absolute ownership of Technical Solution Design documents.
  • Ensure strict quality assurance of enhancements, oversee testing, and assist the business with UAT.
  • Oversee project rollouts, manage production support escalations, and handle the day-to-day running of various client instances.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6 to 8+ years of integration development experience, with significant time spent leading complex EAI, SOA, and API-Led connectivity projects.
  • Extensive understanding of the MuleSoft product stack, including API Manager and DataWeave.
  • Deep experience integrating a mix of protocols and end systems, including FTP/SFTP, Queues/Topics, and Databases.
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer 1 and 2.
  • Proven ability to clarify success metrics, tie efforts toward delivering business value, and confidently articulate MuleSoft features to business users.

  • MuleSoft Integration Associate or MuleSoft Certified Hyperautomation Specialist certifications.
