Responsibility for providing solution designs, technical explanations and assist the sales team in winning business and driving growth. Provides technical oversight of existing and new industry solutions. Support business aligned technical discussions, quotations, proposals, RFIs, RFPs and knowledge transfer as well as general information on Salesforce best practices. Delivery of various pre-sales activities - including eliciting requirements, responding to customer requests for information, developing and planning conceptual solution presentations and demonstrations, technical/product guidance in meetings. Analysing technical requirements of a new project, communicating with internal teams (Solution and Technical Architects) where required to scope the solution, conceptualise design, identify appropriate technology solutions for the project and contribute to project planning and estimation . Working with the Sales team to up-skill and improve their self-sufficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Sales team during needs analysis.
  • Engaging with prospects: collecting background information and identifying key requirements and identify key business drivers / motivators.
  • Forming proposals and quotations.
  • Documenting key functional requirements and proposed build components while coordinating with technical and functional team members.
  • Producing build component estimations while coordinating with technical and functional team members.
  • Producing proposal decks and providing input to the Sales team to form statement of works.
  • Producing proof of concept designs when applicable, including Salesforce demonstrations.
  • Working with Sales teams to up-skill and improve self-sufficiency.
  • Planning a coordinating for upcoming proposal responses, inclusive of tenders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience or knowledge in CRM preferably Salesforce Sales, Service and Experience Cloud.
  • Extensive experience in analysis, design and development of medium to large, complex CRM systems or similar enterprise applications.
  • Consulting and implementation experience in translating business requirements to business solutions and customer outcomes.
  • Executive presentation experience with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues and clients.
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adjust communication style by audience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of delivering Salesforce projects in a lead role, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based environment.
